Unprostituted Hope (she sings)

“I could not forget every word He said, he always knew me.” – Kim Walker, “Sing My Love”

Silence surrounds my mouth,
The air between these cracks is all I need.

Forgetting my own name,
Or never truly knowing what you called me.

Hoping to hold onto your grasp; though I can only feel pains and words …I am so numb.
Challenge my strength in grit,

Thus penetrating this silence.
Deeply sung spring of emotions dwelling deep inside, whispers telling…

My heart and soul now stand corresponding to you my dear.

Desire filling.
Quench forsaking the drought worth dying for.

For you my love, are my last dance sighing.
